“Just as our disobedience does not nullify our salvation, Israel’s disobedience under the Mosaic Covenant does not nullify God’s unconditional promise under the Abrahamic Covenant.”

Thank you, Pastor Stuart, for comparing and contrasting these covenants. This helps me organize my thinking and directs me back to the Lord’s original plan for His chosen people, the land He gave them, and their role in bringing forth the Messiah.

Yes indeed Susie… It is crucial to understand the basis of the blessings under the unconditional Abrahamic Covenant since it parallels the irreversible inheritance blessings we receive under the unconditional New Covenant.

So good.

When you speak of Islam I believe you speak of their religious culture and not the Quran. The Quran has at least four verses that states the Holy Land (Israel) was given to the Children of Israel (Bani Israel).

Just as Christain culture has strayed from the written (Scripture) and intent (Ways of God) of the Words of God, Islam has done the same.

The Quran distinguishes between unfaithful Israel who have broken the Covenant and the Faithful Remnant who even today have the right to the Land.

Hi Von. Excellent comment my friend. You are so right. The Quran does indeed support Israel’s right to the Land. Very puzzling, as you indicated, that the greater Muslim world seems to have missed this.

Today in class you talked about DNA. I had mine done years ago. Didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know. Needless to say I'm 68% United Kingdom, Welsh, Irish, Scottish with a little German and French thrown in. One thing I did recall is they told me I was not Jewish. I didn't think much about then, but now it strikes me as to why that point was made. I believe my DNA comes from God and not bragging "Texan". Thank you Stuart for always speaking the truth.

Thanks, Diane. No matter what your DNA consists of, I’m so glad you and I are in the same forever family by God‘s grace through faith in Jesus.
